Description
Munching away on some dill was this Black Swallowtail Butterfly caterpillar.
I have started a butterfly garden this year, planting not only nectar plants, but host plants as well. One of the Black Swallowtail host plants is Dill. I hand raised and released 5 of these from caterpillars. So far I have raised and released many of 4 different species of butterflies. It has been a very rewarding experience.
